BusinessOPS

Notion workspaces built with you, not for you. For founders and teams who want systems they understand, use, and grow with.

You’re here because how you’ve been working isn’t working.

You've got a workspace, but you're afraid to change anything because you don't fully understand how it's connected.

Your projects live in one place, your clients in another, your tasks in a third. None of it talks to each other properly.

The system was built for a version of your business that no longer exists. You've grown, but your operations haven't kept up.

Every decision still routes through you because information is fragemented. Days off become notification ping pong.

You lie awake doing mental inventory of everything that needs to happen tomorrow

Why past solutions
haven't worked

You've watched the tutorials. Followed the frameworks. Downloaded so many templates your workspace is basically a graveyard of good intentions. You've tried to piece it all together yourself because no one else was going to, and some of it helped. Most of it didn't stick.

The loose thread through all of it? These systems weren't designed around you, your brain, or the way your business actually runs. It’s time to stop running your business and start owning it.

Chloë Forbes-Kindlen, founder of BusinessOPS, using a tablet to design Notion workspace systems for business operations.

“Working with Chloë has far exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for someone to help build something to run your entire business, then Chloë is your go to.”

Introducing:
The Build Room

Most operational work happens behind closed doors. Someone goes away, builds your system, and hands it back. You get a Notion workspace you didn't shape, built on assumptions about how you work.

The Build Room is different. We work together, live, in weekly sessions. I build, I explain, I challenge you to try it yourself while I'm right there if you get stuck. You're not watching from the sidelines. You're in it.

By the time we're done, you don't just have a system. You understand every piece of it. You can change it, adapt it, and continue to expand it as your business grows. No handoff anxiety. No fear of implementation. No need to hire a consultant every time you want to make a change. Just clarity and confidence in a workspace you feel empowered to use.

Everything is designed around how your brain works, not how software thinks it should. Whether you're a solo founder or you've got a team of leads who each need to own their part of the system, The Build Room adapts to you.

“Chloe's notion expertise is matched only by her commitment to providing excellent customer service.”

Trust the process

Here's how it works. We start with a kick-off call where we map your business and build a roadmap together. From there, we work through it one live session at a time, building out your Notion workspace, and adapting as we go. If something needs to change mid-build, we change it. By the end, you've got a Notion workspace and clear workflows that you built, you understand, and you can confidently maintain as your business grows.

Working with Chloë was a fantastic experience. I really enjoyed her collaborative approach where I was actively involved in the development of my Notion client management platform. Our one-on-one video sessions really enhanced my understanding of how Notion works, so I can now do a lot on my own. It also gave us the ability to quickly identify when deviations from my original ideas made sense, before Chloë had done a lot of work.

Chloë was deeply concerned with my specific needs as a AuDHD person and never made me feel like I needed to accept certain things because "that's the way it's normally done". The end result is a solution that is uniquely tailored to my specific needs and way I work. I absolutely love it.

KIND WORDS

FAQS

Questions and Answers

  • Founders and team leads who are done spending their best energy on admin, workarounds, and putting out fires. Whether you're a solo founder or a growing team, The Build Room is for people who want a Notion workspace that gives them back their time, their energy, their capacity, and their evenings.

  • Not at all. That's the whole point of building it together. You'll learn as we go, and by the end you'll be confident enough to manage and adapt your workspace yourself. If you're completely new to Notion, I'd recommend starting with my free Business Starter Kit to get familiar before we dive in.

  • If something more complex comes up during a session, I'll handle it between calls so our live time stays focused on the work that benefits from us being together. Most day-to-day communication happens through your client portal, and you can book a call any time if something needs a conversation.

  • It depends on scope. A BusinessOPS Launch typically runs several months; Flow projects are shorter. We'll map out a realistic timeline during kick-off and adjust as we go.

  • That’s expected. As you start building your system, you learn what works for you and what doesn’t. We can adapt as we go to ensure that your setup works for how you work and think

  • Yes. For teams, I work with the leads who own each part of the system. The collaborative model is the same, it just scales. Each lead builds and learns their piece, so the system isn't dependent on one person knowing everything. We'll figure out the right structure together during kick-off.

  • Most of my work happens remotely on live calls, but if your team would benefit from in-person sessions, depending on availability, this can be arranged. Travel costs and logistics are discussed separately.

  • Sessions run one to two hours a week, with the option to book multiple sessions in a week if you want to move faster. Between calls, the time commitment is minimal. But this isn't a passive process. The reason it works is because you're in it.

  • Notion is my primary tool and I'm a Notion Certified Consultant. But good operations need a connected stack. I'm also a certified Relay specialist and an Assembly Premium Expert, and I work with Zapier and other platforms depending on what your business needs. The system should fit your tools, not the other way around.

  • Projects are scoped based on what you need, with a set number of implementation hours. You'll receive a clear proposal with pricing after our initial call. If the scope grows, additional hours can be added and are always discussed with you first.

  • You do. The workspace, the workflows, the documentation. It's yours to keep, adapt, and grow with.

  • Every project includes two weeks of post-build support. Beyond that, BusinessOPS+ gives you ongoing implementation hours for when your business evolves and your systems need to keep up.

  • Your project portal is private, and client data is handled securely throughout. Our agreement includes a mutual NDA. If you have your own, I'm happy to sign one before we begin working together.

  • That falls outside the scope of The Build Room, but it's something we can discuss separately. Contact me directly to discuss.
